Don't try and edit the default FRONTPAGE feed that gets installed, changes don't seem to work. If you don't want it just unpublish it (you can't delete it either). It took me a while to figure out why my 'News' feed wasn't working (i'd just edited the FRONTPAGE one to point to my desired category) - as soon as I created a new one - hey presto working like a dream. I'm using the feed in conjunction with Twitterfeed.com to push our website news items to our club Twitter account @odcc.
